Our Story

How it all started...

A group of like-minded Christians began a journey to believe that God could do a great work through His people.  Here, the vision of a new fellowship began.  The first worship service was on June 15th, 2008, with over 100 in attendance.  Under the open-air tent at the Lacey Retreat Facility, the air of anticipation was felt and experienced as hearts were united in singing praises to our God.

Expanding the vision...

August 1, 2011, God provided funding to purchase the old Evangel Cathedral Church site.  The worship facility is 11,000 sq. ft. that seats 300 on the main floor and 150 seats in the balcony.  It's suited for classrooms, nursery and media center.  The worship center is upscale, spacious with a center focused view.  Two additional buildings are included, an educational / office building and the family life center that features a full-size basketball court.  The center can accommodate large gatherings, family life activities and outreach opportunities.

Our vision is to glorify God and to share our faith through Jesus Christ's message to the world.  We Promote God's plan for our church. We’re not just looking forward—we’re moving forward. God is calling us to deeper faith, greater service, and wider impact. Together, we will be a light in our community, a refuge for the hurting, and a place where everyone can find hope and belonging. Our heart is to be a church that reaches beyond our walls—meeting needs, building relationships, and sharing the life-changing message of Jesus. We’re moving toward a future where faith is alive, families are strengthened, and our city is transformed by God’s love.
