Leadership

Reverend Hensley has been in the ministry for over 30 years and has been our Pastor since 2009. His passion to preach the Gospel of Christ and reach people for the Kingdom are his greatest gifts.  Gary is a gifted musician and singer, in which he loves to share often during our worship services. His love for the church and its people is manifested throughout our fellowship. Gary and his wife Rhonda are the parents of three married children and six grandchildren.

Reverend Joshua Davis has been in the ministry for the last 10 years. His passion is to teach and reach the next generation with the gospel of Jesus so that they may find freedom in Christ. His hope and belief is that when students find Jesus, they will be disciples who make disciples and will impact their community and world! Joshua loves to stay active in his free time whether it be hiking, sports, hitting the gym etc. Joshua comes from a whole family of pastors and it’s blessed to be following in their footsteps. Joshua is married to his beautiful wife Jensyn and they have been married for 3 years. They don’t have any kids yet, but God willing hope to have them in the future. Joshua is honored to serve here at Covenant Baptist Church!
